I used it for ripping ply, trimming deck boards, and crosscutting 2x. The motor kept pace without bogging; the blade brake was consistent; and the LED helped when sight lines were compromised. For straight rips, the saw tracked predictably with a simple edge guide. It’s 2.6 kg (about 5.7 lb) bare, so plan on pairing it with the 4.0Ah battery to maintain power and balance. With the 2.0Ah pack, it’s nimble but you’ll feel the runtime penalty under sustained cutting.

That oscillation range leans slightly aggressive, which I appreciated for cutting nails and notching trim. With the right blade, it sliced through door jambs and PVC cleanly and handled plunge cuts in drywall without making a crater of dust.

Vibration is controlled well for the class: not the silky isolation of high-end pro models, but absolutely comfortable for typical bursts of use. It accepts both Starlock basic and OIS accessories, which opens up a wide, affordable accessory pool. Accessory retention on my unit was secure, and the LED is bright enough to light inside cabinets and under sinks.

As with most multi-tools, the trick is letting the blade do the work and avoiding excessive pressure. Running in the mid-speed range gave me the best balance of control and cut speed.

The Bluetooth speaker: jobsite-friendly convenience

LED implementation is helpful on all three tools, though the drill’s light could be brighter and better aimed. Runtime and charging in the real world

Swapping between the two batteries, I generally kept the 4.0Ah on the saw and used the 2.0Ah for the drill and multi-tool. That rotation plus the jump-charge feature meant I rarely hit a dead stop. The charger’s full-cycle time for the 2.0Ah is about 45 minutes as stated; the 4.0Ah understandably takes longer. The cooling tech appears to work; packs stayed comfortable and were ready to charge immediately after hard use.

What I’d change

• The kit lacks an impact driver. For many users, that’s the second-most-used tool after a drill/driver. The included speaker is useful, but I’d trade it for an impact in a heartbeat.
• The drill’s trigger feel at the very low end could be smoother. It’s minor, but noticeable if you do delicate starts often.
• The drill’s LED is small and foot-mounted. A brighter, forward-facing light would improve visibility in tight corners.

None of these are deal-breakers, but they are worth noting as you plan the rest of your setup.

If you’re doing heavy framing or large-diameter drilling day in and day out, you’ll want higher-torque drivers and larger-capacity saws. As a foundation for a 20V system you can expand later, this kit makes sense.

The brushless drill/driver, circular saw, and multi-tool are genuinely useful and perform above their price class, the batteries and autoPWRJUMP charger reduce downtime, and the platform’s battery features (cooling wrap, USB power) are thoughtful touches that matter on real jobs. I’d prefer an impact driver over the speaker in the box, and the drill’s light and trigger could be better, but those are nitpicks in light of the overall performance and value.
