What it is and why I reached for it

Setup and workflow

Tips for best results

• Confirm your CTC. Measure the pull between screw holes; don’t rely solely on the model name. Metric-to-inch conversions can surprise you.

• Set a standard setback. Decide your horizontal/vertical offsets for doors and drawers before you start and stick to them across the room.

• Test on a scrap or a sacrificial board. One practice run pays for itself.

• Flip to mirror. For left/right doors or different orientations, simply flip the template to keep the reference edges consistent.

How it compares

Compared to improvised measuring (tape measure, square, painter’s tape), the MeasurePro template is far faster and more consistent. Versus adjustable aluminum jigs with sliding rules and bushings, this kit is simpler and less expensive, but also less flexible and not designed for drill-through use.
