Given Milwaukee's reputation for high-quality tools, I had high hopes for these blades. However, my experience was a mixed bag, revealing both strengths and significant weaknesses.

Initially, I appreciated the idea behind these blades. Unfortunately, the real-world performance fell short of these promises.

One area where these blades did shine was in tight, awkward spaces where a traditional soil pipe cutter would be cumbersome. As a plumber, I often find myself working in cramped conditions, and these blades were a lifesaver for cast iron drain removal in those scenarios. Despite their short lifespan, they were easier to maneuver compared to bulkier tools.
Battery life is another consideration. Milwaukee claims that these blades offer more cuts per charge, and in my experience, the blades didn’t seem to drain the battery excessively. Until Milwaukee addresses these significant issues, it’s hard to justify the investment in these blades for serious metalworking tasks.
