Having used this bit for multiple projects, I can confidently say that it stands out in both functionality and durability, though not without a few caveats.

One of the defining features of this bellhanger bit is the pull-through hole in the tip. This small but significant detail makes threading wires through drilled holes a much simpler task. When installing a doorbell wire, for instance, I found that I could effortlessly pull the wire through without having to fish around blindly. This feature alone can save a considerable amount of time and frustration. However, attaching the wire to the bit requires some finesse, as it needs to be wound through the grooves to secure it properly.

In terms of build quality, the bit appears solid and well-constructed, matching what one would expect from a Milwaukee product. However, seeing that some units may not hold up against tougher materials does raise questions about consistency in manufacturing. Despite these concerns, my overall experience has been largely positive, with the bit delivering reliable performance in most scenarios.

However, if your projects frequently involve drilling through tougher materials like metal or hardwoods, you might want to consider a more robust option. The bit's tendency to snap under high stress could be a limitation for more demanding tasks. For most home improvement and wire installation needs, though, this bit offers excellent performance and convenience, making it a worthy addition to your toolkit.
