A 50 ft (15 m) vertical lifeline intended for rooftop fall protection. The lifeline uses a water- and abrasion-resistant polysteel rope and includes a manual rope adjuster to permit either free movement or a fixed position for fall restraint. An integral 2 ft (0.6 m) energy absorber is provided to limit forces in the event of a fall. The lifeline is intended to be used with an appropriate rooftop anchor and a compatible harness as part of a personal fall arrest system.
