Why I reached for these

Who these are for

If you prioritize light quality and ambiance, especially in fixtures where the bulb is part of the look, these shine. They’re excellent in chandeliers, sconces, pendants with clear or patterned glass, and anywhere you want that soft, classic incandescent personality. If you’re building a strictly efficiency-focused, always-on lighting plan, an LED candle with high CRI may be a better fit—even if it won’t dim quite as gracefully or sparkle the same way.

The Sylvania F15 iridescent bulbs are a solid choice for decorative fixtures where mood and color quality matter more than raw output or efficiency.
