Why I reached for these bulbs

They also work well if you’re standardizing on 2700K throughout a house and don’t want to juggle separate “decorative” and “functional” bulbs.

If you need higher color accuracy for a studio or want tunable-white or smart control, look elsewhere. And if your fixtures are fully enclosed with poor ventilation, I’d choose an LED specifically rated for that environment.
