What could be better

• Inclusion of a nonmetal workaround: BREXFIRE mentions using a sticky magnet square for machines with non-ferrous plates, but none was included in my box. Adding a thin steel plate sticker or a small magnetic pad would make this more truly “universal.”

• Higher-contrast markings: The printed scale is readable, but a bolder contrast or etched markings would be easier under dim lighting and for tired eyes.

• Rounded leading edge option: The square faces are great for control, but a slightly chamfered option on one facet could reduce drag on very lightweight fabrics that tend to catch.

These are small nitpicks; the core function—stable, repeatable seam guidance—is well executed.

Strong magnet, useful geometry, and a tall, trustworthy edge translate into straighter seams with less effort. It’s not perfectly universal—nonmetal plates require a workaround—and I’d love a bundled solution for those machines. But for most standard setups, the stability and ease of use make it an easy win.
