This one-piece carbide tipped core bit is designed for drilling large holes where the depth is relatively shallow. The core bit only cuts a kerf, and the inside core must be removed by the operator before deeper drilling can be completed. A centering bit is recommended for use with this core bit. The available shank types include SDS-Max or Spline, and various diameters are offered ranging from 1-1/2" to 6". It has an overall length of either 11-3/8" or 22" and a drilling depth of 3". The design features teeth arranged asymmetrically with alternating geometries to improve material pulverization and enhance energy transfer.
