Why I added this brass fitting kit to my truck

Durability over time

Brass holds up well in the environments I use it in, especially compared to plated steel that can rust if the plating gets nicked. After multiple assemblies and disassemblies, the hex flats haven’t rounded prematurely, and the wrenching surfaces are wide enough to get decent torque without marring.
